15 years ago I offered to coach the men's golf team at Sandhills Community College here in Pinehurst North Carolina. Not really knowing what I was getting into, I couldn't be happier that I stuck it out and since have developed a golf program that has had success and continues to grow. An amazing and beautiful junior college nestled here in the home of golf, I can't think of a better opportunity for any young man or woman who is passionate about golf and wants to compete at the college level and get a good education at the same time. Boasting an NJCAAA D3 National Championship in 2021, 2014, and five runner up finishes, the success of this program would not have been possible without all the support of all the area golf courses and PGA Golf  Professionals. I can't thank you all enough. Coaching these amazing young golfers gives me energy and grows my love for the game. Go Flyers !!!
